Quincy Medical Group Cancer Institute

Cullinan Properties, Ltd., of Peoria, IL hired IMPACT Strategies, Inc. as the Construction Manager for renovation of the former Bergner’s store location at the Quincy Mall in Quincy, IL. Utilizing their healthcare expertise, IMPACT provided innovative solutions for the transformation from mall anchor store to Cancer Institute and Surgery Center for Quincy Medical Group.
The Cancer Institute focuses on both chemo therapy and radiation treatments. Half of the new space houses an infusion therapy area, which allows up to 25 patients at a time to receive chemo therapy. The other half of the space is the radiation oncology area with a LINAC (Linear Accelerator) suite. The facility also includes a CT scan suite, an x-ray suite, clinical research, a full pharmacy, exam rooms, cancer support services and a large waiting area with a fireplace, television, and refreshments.
